"Other season types move into Winter expression as their hair turns gray or white, and they find they can express themselves more effectively by adopting a dramatic styling. For instance, when a Summer type with pink and white skin becomes white-haired and continues to wear soft blues, pinks, pastel lavenders, the results may not be as chic as a change to the rich purplish blues and deep lavenders so flattering to Winter. She might also employ pearl gray with deep magenta as an accent, or bottle green with crisp white." Suzanne Caygill

You are your very own combination of yin and yang elements (height, body type, bone structure, facial features, hair, etc, read outer and inner lines link below).  This post is not meaning to indicate that everyone will have two dominant styles close to equal. Some of you will have one very dominant style and can choose to dress quite distinctively.  Others of you will have a composite of many styles that allows you quite a bit of versatility in your style expression.

McJIMSEY/NORTHRUP COMBINATIONS

When you take the McJimsey style, (spreadsheet) here are some of the combinations.
Many people have a dominant and secondary, but some have a very strong dominant, and others are blend of several types (see top of post).  Referencing adjective titles below are not McJimsey, some correlations to Kibbe, some Lucky Guide.
Dramatic is also called Theatrical: elegant, high fashion style  Get the Dramatic Style Guide
Dramatic Natural (like Flamboyant Gamine), can be "Grunge" - your desire for casual comfort may be holding you back; take dramatic risks with makeup and accessories, taking advantage of your height
Dramatic Classic - "Avant Garde" is also Dramatic with Classic, this is a Lucky Guide style too, balanced inner lines, outer lines more yang, also Arty Slick Lucky Guide, and Minimalist - you always choose high fashion and high quality
Dramatic Romantic - "Exotic" and "Femme Fatale" also Dramatic yang outer lines with Romantic yin inner lines or yin height (like Soft Dramatic or Flamboyant Gamine, or Soft Gamine), also Bombshell - high fashion clothes with feminine details (buttons, beads, accents, accessories) reflecting your sensitivity

When you take the McJimsey style quiz, the recommendations you get divide into two categories, the inner and outer design lines.

Outer design lines are determined by your physical silhouette, thus coordinating with clothing silhouettes that are the most flattering.  This refers to the shapes of your garments because they need to fit your body.

Your inner design lines are determined by the size and characteristics of your facial features and hair, etc.  Thus you will wear accessories that repeat your physical geometry.  So your dominant type might determine your outer lines and your secondary your inner lines, or vice versa.

So you could have Dramatic outer lines OR inner lines

So you could have Natural outer lines OR inner lines

So you could have Classic outer lines OR inner lines

So you could have Romantic outer lines OR inner lines

So you could have Ingenue outer lines OR inner lines

So you could have Gamine outer lines OR inner lines
